About The Formulators

Z'ev Rosenberg, LAc, OMD, Z'ev Rosenberg is part of the first generation of practitioners of TCM in America. He is trained in both Chinese and Western herbology, having studied Chinese medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College, Santa Fe, and Emperor's College of Oriental Medicine, Santa Monica, and Western herbology at the Institute of Traditional Medicine, Santa Fe. Before opening his practice in acupuncture in 1983, he was a shiatsu therapist and macrobiotic counselor since 1975 in Denver Colorado and Santa Fe, New Mexico. He was one of the initiators of an acupuncture licensing law in Colorado, spearheading a drive as President of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado from 1984 to 1988. He has been a Professor and Chair of the Department of Herbal Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, San Diego, for the past 25 years, and is former associate editor of Oriental Medicine magazine. He has lectured widely around the United States, and has written many articles published in all of the professional English-language journals of the TCM profession.
