What do you love most about Kan?
Cat: I love that I can come to work and help people everyday!
Describe a typical day at work as if you're talking to a kid:
Cat: I get to talk to people from all over the country and help them with their patients, their pets and give them solutions to problems. I also get to hear how much we help people! I get to look at, smell and taste all kinds of interesting herbs in our facility.
What inspired you to join this field?
Cat: I've always been fascinated by plants, their use and how they support our health. Since I was a young child I have gravitated towards all things green and growing, eventually studying plant and soil science, then Western and Eastern Herbalism. I love how I can contribute to the health and well-being of people and animals.
What’s one surprising or quirky fact about you?
Cat: I love high altitudes, the higher, the better.
What’s your favorite motivational quote or mantra?
Cat: People will come and go in life, but the person in the mirror will be there forever. So be good to yourself.
