Dr. Steve Marsden holds a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (National College of Naturopathic Medicine, Portland, Oregon), holds a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada), holds a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, a Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine, is a Licensed Acupuncturist (National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon), and is Board Certified in Chinese Medical Herbology (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).

Dr. Marsden is in demand worldwide as one of the foremost lecturers on alternative veterinary medicine. He is a lecturer for the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and the Association of Veterinary Acupuncturists of Canada. He lectures routinely at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, as well as for many associations and at most universities that train and license veterinarians to practice acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, including the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Marsden is a member of the Board of Directors of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (Portland, Oregon), and a Professional Member of the prestigious American Herbalists Guild.

Dr. Marsden is the coauthor of several texts, including the bestselling Manual of Natural Veterinary Medicine: Science and Tradition (Mosby, 2003). He is also a contributing author to Veterinary Herbal Medicine (Mosby, 2006), and an editor for LifeLearn, Inc., a subsidiary of the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
