While our dedication to product quality has never wavered, our ability to provide the best possible service through our website was subpar until recently. While other online platforms improved, our website hadn’t — until now.
As part of the next chapter in the Kan Herbs story, we have launched a new ordering experience that’s easy to use and maintain, and built to make the ordering process easier for the valued Practitioners, Distributors, and Customers we serve.

Some Technical Details
For people who love the technology aspects behind online platforms, we’re happy to provide a little information. The ordering system was custom built for our needs using the e-commerce platform Shopify. Used by millions of people every day, this platform has high levels of safety and security and operates very efficiently. It’s used by companies large and small like Pura Vida Bracelets, The Paper Cub Co., Kylie Cosmetics, Allbirds, and local coffee company, Verve Coffee Roasters.
The Shopify platform is set up for everything from marketing and payments to secure transactions and shipping. We integrated it with our existing website and other software to help us manage products, inventory, and payments better than before.
It’s cloud-based and hosted, so we don't have to upgrade or maintain software or web servers. It’s automatic! Plus it’s designed to work well with mobile devices.
The Ordering Experience
We describe this new feature of our website as an experience because it’s more than a platform for placing orders. Take one glance at it and you can see that it has a different aesthetic than our previous platform. It looks and feels like us; like the organization that we are today. It has modern functionality that aligns with our traditions of quality and service. And while we’re still here if you prefer to order over the phone, we hope you’ll give online ordering a try.
The whole experience of placing an order is improved. The platform is designed to reduce friction and increase ease in the process. It was designed to be easy for people to use whatever their comfort is in using technology platforms.
